We fully understand the importance of user information security, respect, and protect user privacy. When you use Kidoodle services, we will collect, use, and share your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy"). Before using any Kidoodle services, please carefully read and understand this policy. By using any Kidoodle services, you acknowledge that we will use and protect your personal data in accordance with this policy.

Scope of Application

This policy applies to all Kidoodle services and does not apply to services provided to you by other third parties. Our services may contain links to third-party websites. For example, if you click on a model provided by the model search module, you may be redirected to a third-party website. We do not assume any responsibility for the content or activities of these linked websites.

What Information We Collect and How We Use It

In order to provide you with services, ensure the normal operation of our services, and improve and optimize our services, Kidoodle may collect and use your personal data voluntarily provided by you when using our products/services or generated by our products/services, based on the principles of legitimacy, rationality, necessity, and good faith.

In general, we collect and use your personal data in the following scenarios:

  1. When you create an account, you need to provide an email address or phone number, login password, and other information. The email address and phone number you provide are used to receive verification codes during registration, login, account binding, and password retrieval. You may also designate your email address and phone number as a way to contact Kidoodle to receive related business notifications (including commercial information, service changes, audit notifications, etc.) or to communicate with us regarding business matters (in the case of designer account verification).

  1. After registration, you can choose to add personal data in the profile feature, including nickname, gender, birthday, avatar, and location. This information constitutes your account information. Providing additional account information helps us better serve you, but if you do not provide such information, your basic functionality will not be affected.

  1. When you use upload, download, or edit functions on Kidoodle, we will request storage (albums, media, and other files) and camera (webcam) permissions from you. If you refuse to grant these permissions, you will be denied access to the related functions, but it will not affect your use of other Kidoodle functionalities. When you publish content, we will collect your activities within the product and the information you provide, and display them publicly including your nickname, avatar, and activity content. However, please be aware that the information you publicly release may contain personal data or sensitive personal information about you or others. If you choose to upload images or text containing personal data when posting comments, please carefully consider whether to share or publicly disclose such information when using our service.

  1. When your printing device connects to the network for the first time or changes network environments, enabling network connection is necessary. In order to connect the Kidoodle application and your printing device to the network, we need to display a WiFi hotspot list. For this purpose, we will request location permissions on your phone according to the settings requirements of the Android or iOS system, primarily to obtain WLAN names. Rest assured, this information is only used locally and will not be uploaded to cloud servers. To discover devices near you more quickly, we will automatically scan and display a list of Wi-Fi devices around you on the network connection page of the Kidoodle application based on your phone version. To provide a better network connection experience and identify any problems you encounter during the connection process, we will collect your MAC address, network connection method, network status, and abnormal information during network connection. Such information will be uploaded to Kidoodle servers for processing.

  1. During your use of our products and services, we collect your usage information to identify any anomalies in your account or device, understand or optimize the adaptability of our products and services, and update application or firmware versions. This collection occurs when the application is in use or in the background/silent state, and the information is stored as network log data. This type of information includes device attributes (such as device model, operating system version, device settings, unique device identifiers, and other hardware and software features), device location (obtained through GPS, Bluetooth, or WiFi signals), device connection information (IP address, browser type, telecommunications operator, language used, access date and time, and your network logs, etc.), installed app information, device serial number, Android_ID, and information regarding the performance of our products on your device. If you log in to the application from multiple devices, we can use your profile information to identify your activities across devices. Information from a newly logged-in device may be collected and associated with your Kidoodle account. Additionally, with your consent, we may evaluate the risk of your account by assessing certain network usage habits, software commonly used by you, and other means, and may record some URLs that we consider risky, in order to better protect the security of your use of Kidoodle services and more accurately prevent phishing website fraud and trojan viruses.

To provide a better intelligent experience, we collect relevant usage information about the printing device bound to you, including device model, operational status, and frequency of use. If your bound printing device has a built-in camera, we will collect video and photo information related to the printing device bound to you when you use relevant functions.

  1. In order to share your usage experience with friends around you, we will obtain information about the apps installed on your device to complete the sharing operation. We do not store this information data and only use it when using the sharing function.

  1. To better understand the operation of Kidoodle, we may record relevant information including your usage frequency, crash data, overall usage, and performance data. We do not associate the information stored in the analytics software with your account profile.

  1. We also collect information about how you interact with Kidoodle, including how you engage with the content we show you, the models you view, the issues you encounter, the content you like, and the content you save and use.
