Inspiring Young Creators: A Parent-Child 3D Printing Open Day at Kidoodle
Share
Last weekend, Kidoodle opened its headquarters to local families for a special Parent-Child Open Day — a day filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Teachers, parents, and children were invited to explore how 3D printing is transforming the way kids learn, imagine, and create.
From Imagination to Creation
The event began with an engaging presentation by our Kidoodle team leader, who introduced the origin and development of 3D printing technology. They shared how this once futuristic invention has now become part of everyday life — from architecture and healthcare to art and education. The children were amazed to learn that many objects around them could be made layer by layer using simple materials and digital design.

Discovering How 3D Printing Works
Through a vivid demonstration, families discovered the principles behind 3D printing — from model design and slicing to layering and printing. They also learned how the Kidoodle MiniBox A1 turns children’s digital ideas into real objects, making the magic of creation visible and touchable.

Hands-on Exploration with Kidoodle MiniBox A1
The most exciting moment came when the kids took turns to operate the Kidoodle MiniBox A1 printer themselves. With its intuitive touchscreen, child-safe lock, and stable full-enclosure design, the experience was both safe and fun. The joy on their faces as their small creations came to life was simply heartwarming.

Learning Through Play: The Value of STEAM Education
Beyond the fun, the day offered parents and teachers a deeper look at the value of STEAM education — blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into hands-on discovery. They saw how 3D printing empowers kids to explore scientific concepts creatively and turn imagination into real, measurable results.

A Bridge Between Home and Learning
For families, the event became more than just a tech experience — it was a shared learning journey. Working together to print puzzles, toys, and educational models helped parents and children connect through play, proving that learning can be both meaningful and joyful.

Looking Ahead
At Kidoodle, we believe that every child deserves tools that spark imagination and build confidence in learning. Events like this allow us to connect with families, share our vision for creative education, and inspire more kids to explore the world of 3D printing.
✨ Though this event took place at our China headquarters, the spirit of Kidoodle — curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning — is something we hope to share with families all over the world.
