Water Pump💧
Share
📝Over two thousand years ago, the brilliant minds of ancient Egypt and Greece discovered a simple truth: water naturally flows downward, but people needed it to go upward! That’s when a scientist named Archimedes invented one of the earliest screw pumps. It looked like a giant screw inside a cylinder—by turning it with a handle, river water could be lifted up along the spiral! Later, scientists kept improving this idea, which eventually led to the modern pumps we use today. They bring water to faucets, fountains, and even to the very top of skyscrapers! The simple pump we’re making today is like a mini hero version of those great inventions!
